Her Life

Magdelena Carmen Frida Kahlo was born in  Mexico City in 1907

Father was a photographer , born in Germany of Hungarian Jewish descent.

Mother was Spanish and Native American

At age 6 she suffered from polio leaving her with a limp.

At 18 years old , Frida was in a serious bus accident causing injury to her right leg and pelvis, later she had to undergo many surgeries to try to correct her spine and crippled foot.

Married Diego RIvera in 1929, divorced him in 1940, and later remarried him before she passed away.

Died July 1954
