A Few Small Nips
kahlo_small_nips.jpg
1935, oil on metal, 15 x 19 in.

Frida was inspired to create this painting after she heard in the news of a man who murdered his wife by stabbing her twenty times. He was asked by the authorites why he did such an act and he replied "It's just a few nips".
